Add salt to taste and mix well. Sprinkle water gradually and mix with your fingertips to form a little moist and crumbly mixture. Make sure that there are no lumps in the flour. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n \n<\/div>\n Take the Puttu Kutty (a cylindrical tube – lower part is for heating water and the upper part is for steaming Puttu) and add 2 cups of water in the lower part. Allow it to boil.<\/p>\n In the upper part, put 1 tbsp of grated coconut and then 2 fistful of the prepared mixture of Datar Quinoa Puttu Flour. Make 2 or 3 layers in the same way. Cover the top with the grated coconut and close the lid. <\/p>\n When the water comes to boil, place the upper part of the Kutty on the lower part and fix it carefully. <\/p>\n Let it steam on the medium flame. After 5 to 7 minutes, when the steam starts coming out of the lid, switch off the flame. <\/p>\n Carefully separate the upper part of the Kutty. Open the lid and let it cool for 2 minutes. To remove the steamed Puttu from the Kutty, gently push it with a wooden stick from the lower side. <\/p>\n Enjoy hot Datar Quinoa Puttu with Chana Curry, Veg Stew or Banana. <\/p>\n \n<\/div><\/div><\/div>INGREDIENTS :<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n
