Datar instant pickle masala can be enjoyed with lemon, green chilies, tomatoes, amla, carrots and other such vegetables

INGREDIENTS :

Datar Instant Pickle Masala: 1 packet (100 grams)
Green mango piece: 500 grams
Edible Oil: 200 ml
Datar Salt: 5 tablespoons (100 grams)

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  • Take green mangoes and wash them thoroughly. Wipe them with a cloth. Cut them into small pieces and keep aside.
  • In a glass jar, addthe mango pieces and salt, and keep aside for 10 to 12 hours.
  • Add Datar instant pickle masala to the above mango pieces. Mix well and keep aside for at least 2 to 3 hours.
  • Heat 200 ml of any edible oil such as mustard oil, sunflower oil, sesame oil or groundnut oil in a pan and keep it aside to cool.
  • Pour the oil into the above mixture and mix thoroughly.
