Datar chana sattu is made from black gram (black chana). Roasted hygienically, the skin is peeled and ground in a stone chakki. Chana sattu contains high amounts of calcium and benefits those who have gastric trouble and ulcers. It also helps to improve the digestive system.

DATAR CHANA SATTU WITHOUT DISHES

INGREDIENTS :

Water: 1 glass
Datar chana sattu: 4 tablespoons

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  • Take one glass of water, add 4 tablespoons of Datar Chana Sattu, stir it nicely and drink it 2 to 3 times in a day to meet the daily requirement of calcium in your body.

DATAR CHANA SATTU PARATHA

INGREDIENTS :

Datar Chana Sattu: 100 grams
Datar Wheat Flour: 200 grams
Onion Chopped: 1 number
Coriander Leaves: 10 grams
Pudina Leaves (Mint): 10 grams
Vegetable Oil: 50 ml or 10 tablespoons
Salt: As per taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  • Grind coriander leaves, pudina leaves & onion with some water and make a paste. Keep it aside.
  • In a bowl, take wheat flour, Datar chana sattu, the above-made paste, Datar salt as per taste and mix well. Add some water and knead into a firm dough. Make 5 rolls for parathas.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, and fry the paratha on low flame on both sides. Serve hot.
