Enjoy the royal delicacy from the magnificent valleys of Kashmir with this special Kashmiri Pulav Spice Mix

INGREDIENTS :

Datar Kashmiri Pulav Spice Mix: 100 grams
Basmati Rice: 500 grams
Milk: 500 ml,
Chopped Apples: 2 (approx. 200 grams)
Mixed Fruits (Fresh): 100 grams
Ghee: 5 tablespoons
Saffron: A pinch

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  • Take 500 grams of Basmati rice and soak in water for 45 minutes. Rinse the rice and drain the water several times until the water becomes clear.
  • Take 500 ml of milk; add a pinch of saffron and 2 chopped apples.
  • Boil and keep aside. Heat ghee in a vessel; add 100 grams of Datar Kashmiri Pulav. Fry this mixture for 15 seconds.
  • Add the rice and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the boiled milk, salt and 300 ml of water. Cover the vessel and cook until the rice is done.
  • Garnish with mix fruits.
