Datar Kasuri Methi is dried in natural sunlight and cleaned in an automatic machine. These exotic leaves are specially cultivated in farms and impart a rich aroma to all dishes

POTATO CURRY WITH DATAR KASURI METHI

INGREDIENTS :

Datar Kasuri Methi leaves: 50 grams
Potato cubes: 500 grams
Green Chilies: 6
Vegetable Oil: 50 grams
Datar Vegetable Masala Spice Mix: 1 teaspoon
Water: 500 ml
Salt: as per taste

METHOD OF PREPARATION :

  • Soak the Datar Kasuri Methi in warm water for a minimum of 20 minutes. Squeeze the methi leaves and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add potatoes cubes and green chilies. Fry for 5 minutes on a low flame till the potatoes turn slightly golden.
  • Add Datar Kasuri Methi leaves and Datar Vegetable Masala Spice Mix.
  • To make it spicy, add Datar Chili powder and fry for few minutes. Add 500 ml water and mix it nicely.
  • Add salt as per taste and stir well. Cover the pan and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the potatoes are cooked.
