METHOD OF PREPARATION :Rub the fish pieces with some lime juice.Add a pinch of Datar Salt and Datar Turmeric Powder. Keep aside for 10 minutes. Grind the tomatoes in a mixer and keep it aside.Apply 2 tablespoons of Datar Bengali Fish Curry Spice Mix on the fish and keep it for 30 minutes.Heat 6 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan, fry the chopped onion and garlic paste on a medium flame till it is golden brown and aromatic.Add the fish and fry for 1 minute. Add tomato paste and fry for another 2 to 3 minutes. Add 400ml of water, Datar Salt as per taste and stir gently.Cover and cook on a low flame for 5 to 8 minutes. Serve Datar Bengali Fish Curry with steamed rice.
